In this interactive session the instructors will cover a variety of common laboratory hazards/non-compliance issues typically found during laboratory inspections. This is a great program for training laboratory safety committee members in how to identify hazards during periodic inspections. In addition, there will be a question and answer period.

Dean Calhoun is an American Board of Industrial Hygiene Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). He has been an environmental health and safety professional for over 22 years, and has significant experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
Dean has spoken for a number of professional organizations including the Colorado Safety Association, the Bay Area Environmental Safety Group, the National Association for Environmental Management, the National Safety Council, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
